Btw, my suggestion for the ideal use of your time and everyone else's re: California would be:

You fly out Tuesday morning to SF, arrange meetings all day Tuesday and dinner Tuesday. Fly back during the day on Wednesday and be in DC on Thursday for St. Patty's Day events. That leaves Monday, Wednesday and Thursday for others to do LA meetings. Devon can do SF with you on Tuesday and Dan can fly up as well or just stay in LA all week.

Then, your week vis a vis RR is Monday with Firefighters (which I think you should do alone - no Dan, no Richardson), Tuesday SF, Thursday at St. Pat's Day events.

In SF, you would at least choose from some combination of: Penner, Chris Kelly, Wade Randlett, Jed York, Gavin Newsom, Bill Levin (?) and Meg Smith (does she know potential investors) (asking any of them to bring together potential other investors in Real Estate). You could also reach out to Steve Westly or Doug Hickey but they may require some more advance work.

But I think you'd want to start making the requests tomorrow b/c it is less than two weeks. Whoever can't meet on that Tuesday you should then ask for some dates and take another trip out there in the next month or two.

Seems to me SF is fertile ground for you and you should go out there two or three times in the next couple of months. Be very productive on a whole bunch of levels.
