First stops were Breckenridge and Vail. They included, in no particular
order:
-43,000 vertical feet of skiing in two days
-a 40-minute hike, at 12,000 feet, into 60mph winds (only way to get to the
top of the mtn once they closed the lifts)
-flipping head over heels and landing in an exposed spring
-mangling one pole
-skiing with no jacket in the Vail 40-degree heat
