Sounds great, Abe. Why don't you wait to share it with the DE team until it is cleared by the lawyers. No doubt it will be cleared but always good to really be able to give them the news when it is a done deal. I think you are good with the DE folks right now with or without this good news. Eric D. Sher'<abe@aquasciences.com> Subject: Johns Hopkins Update Hey Abe – I know you are just landing in Miami – I hope you had a nice flight back home. I just wanted to give you a quick update on my call with Johns Hopkins today. It was an awesome call! First, the MOU is completed and the School of Public Health and the Center for Refugee and Disaster Response have given their “greenlight”. The MOU covers our relationship with Kirsch’s Center whereas the new “aqua box” concept will be designed in collaboration with the Center to deploy with them into disaster stricken areas worldwide. On the JHU School of Public Health, the MOU covers the development of our current and future offerings (ie. The rooftop model). Also, they wanted to point out that the MOU was also broadly written as not to slow down the process – I told them that this was fine with us. The MOU currently rests with the attorneys and should be out in less than 2 weeks. JHU said they have already been reassured that the MOU will be approved, but unfortunately the attorneys won’t be able to get to it for about a week or so b/c of the backlog. Secondly, and just as exciting (if not more), JHU would like to highlight our technology and our relationship with the School to the Gates Foundation. Apparently, the Gates Foundation has asked JHU to propose a better way for the Foundation to provide water to disaster areas as well as to third world countries. JHU wants to essentially say to Gates: “although you have done a tremendous job providing water to the needy worldwide, there is NOW a better, smarter way to do it and it is based on this new paradigm shifting technology that was developed by a partner of ours, Aqua Sciences…” or something to this effect. I immediately told them that I will speak for Abe on this and gave them the go ahead to submit our technology and name in their response to Gates. I didn’t think you would have any problems with me speaking for you in this instance! I am thrilled with our progress with JHU and JHU continues to show great faith in us and our technology. They were so excited to talk with us about the Gates Foundation opp. This is really exciting for us!
