This weekend we celebrated Earth Day and the many
environmental accomplishments Washington state has had this year.
We passed a bill to fund oil spill response and prevention, and
another to phase out Atlantic salmon net pen farms that threaten
our water and native fish populations.

However, there’s still much more to be done to deal with the
harmful effects of climate change and ensure the well-being of
the planet for generations to come.
