Dear Sidwell Crew, The novice rowers have already received this information. I am writing with an update for everyone else on the plan for tomorrow's (Monday) morning practice. Most of you know that we only own two boats and one coach's launch. In order to accommodate all thirty rowers, we are making arrangements to borrow a third boat and a second coach's launch for the season. Although we were hoping to have this agreement finalized in time for tomorrow morning's practice, the review process has taken longer than expected. This means that we will only have access to our own two boats and one coach's launch tomorrow morning. Ted and I have decided, in consideration of the equipment situation, to take out two varsity boats tomorrow morning. The novices will have the morning off and can prepare to practice Tuesday morning. Later this afternoon, Ted and I will send around the list of the 18 varsity rowers who will practice tomorrow from 5:30-7:15am at TBC. We apologize for this last minute change but it always takes a few days to pull everything together in order to conduct safe and efficient practices for everyone. Thanks for your patience.
