In the city of San Juan, 1110 km from Buenos Aires, the first PV power plant of the country will be built. The San Juan PV power plant will be capable of generating 1,2 MW of clean power through 4898 solar panels from different technologies and is the driver for an ambitious project known as Solar San Juan which will technologically develop this region in the coming years.
Construction and engineering labours will be executed by Comsa Argentina S.A and once completed the local electric utility "Energía Provincial Sociedad del estado" will be in charge of operation and management of the power plant.
Ormazabal has delivered: CGMCOSMOS switchgear up to 24 kV, distribution transformers, energy management units, protection devices, LV boards, auxiliary devices and engineering assessment.
