I'm absolutely livid about this: Planned Parenthood – and the millions of people who use their services – just lost a major source of funding for lifesaving breast cancer screenings.

Why? Because of a politically motivated witch hunt, led by anti-choice Republican extremists in the House of Representatives. So much for "pro-life!"

Now more than ever, Planned Parenthood needs to know that reasonable Americans appreciate the hard work they do to prevent cancer – and keep all women healthy. Will you sign this petition? I'd like to get 100,000 signatures from people who proudly stand with Planned Parenthood.

Cancer doesn't care if you support a woman's right to choose. Cancer doesn't care if you're a Republican or Democrat, gay or straight, rich or poor. Fortunately, some women will be able to receive the care they need. But women who rely on Planned Parenthood for preventive services and screenings will suffer.

We need to make sure women don't get sick, or even die, because radical Republicans play politics with women's health.

Republican extremists have hit a new low this time. Please join me in supporting Planned Parenthood. Let's send a message that can't be ignored: Women's lives matter.
