Dear Friends,
On behalf of Mrs. Vicki R. Kennedy, we would like to invite you to the fundraiser that she is co-hosting for her nephew, Joe Kennedy III. Last night, he announced his run for Congress for the seat from which our friend Barney Frank is retiring. Recently, the press said that "JPK3 has got the smile, the jaw line, the shoulders." In other words, he has the classic Kennedy look." It is tempting to say that Joe running for Congress is the beginning of his public endeavors but as you review his career, you find that he has already been an accomplished prosecutor, has completed a stint in the Peace Corps, and has graduated from Stanford and Harvard Law.
Clearly, Joe understands and believes in the need to serve the public. Like those in his family who have served this country well, Joe and his generation want to do their duty now. I hope that you will provide your support for Joe as he runs for Congressman Frank's District, a seat that Democrats have held for 32 years at the end of this Congress.
