We invite you to join us for our 2012 Pre-NAAG Reception and Dinner on
Sunday, March 4th from 6:00pm-9:00pm at the Italian Embassy in
Washington, D.C.

In accordance with standard embassy security protocol, there are
additional logistical items we would like to make you aware of:

- All event attendees must be registered for the event by Monday,
February 20th. DAGA will submit registration information to the embassy
for security clearance.

- There is limited street parking available at the embassy. To
compensate, DAGA will be providing ground transportation to and from
the event. DAGA busses will leave from the Fairmont Hotel at 2401 M
Street at 5:45pm. DAGA busses will return to the Fairmont upon
conclusion of the dinner. Passengers will be dropped off at the gate of
the embassy, from there it is a short sloped walk down to the embassy
entrance.

- Once at the embassy, all attendees must present a photo ID and pass
through a metal detector to gain entrance into the embassy. A
coat-check will be available.

Dress for the event is business.

Social guests are eligible to attend this event for a fee of $150.
Social guests that are not registered will not be eligible to attend.

Event Recap

2012 DAGA Winter Policy Conference
January 27th-28th, 2012
Ritz Carlton - Key Biscayne, FL
Last weekend, for one last time, Key Biscayne, FL played host to the
DAGA Winter Policy Conference. Temperatures in the mid 80s, clear skies
and a turquoise blue sea was the setting for two days of robust policy
discussion and social gatherings. The Progressive State Leaders
Committee brought in Donna Brazile to kick off the conference with an
invigorating keynote. Our policy discussions covered a wide variety of
issues including child protection, emerging trends in retail and ACA
litigation. Joe Eyer delivered an update on the 2012 elections and
Marilyn Davis of the DNC Convention committee provided our AGs and
members a preview of the big event in Charlotte.
DAGA would like to thank the 13 Attorneys general, 225 members, and
guests for helping us bid farewell to Key Biscayne, FL. We look forward
to seeing you all in Santa Monica for the 2013 Winter Policy
Conference!

General in West Virginia. Patrick Morrisey, 44, from Harpers Ferry in
Jefferson County filed to run for the Republican nomination for
Attorney General on Saturday.

seat

push for a U.S. House seat, the St. Louis Republican announced Thursday
that he is running for Missouri attorney general — a surprise move that
shifts the November ballot equation for the state GOP.

[9]AG Biden Works With Legislators To Keep Delawareans In Their Homes
Delaware Democratic Party– Jan 20, 2012
This week, Attorney General Beau Biden and a bipartisan group of
Delaware legislators launched a new program for Delawareans who are in
danger of losing their homes. The Mortgage Mediation Program, modeled
after similar programs in Connecticut and Philadelphia, is a free
program designed to help people stay in their homes.
