EMAIL DETAILS

Just tell me who you want included on the roster to attend the meeting. At one point we discussed Louis Freeh. Do we have a good connection to him that would allow us to say he'd come? If not I'll send it in for me, DB, and JS.

All –

Hans called me to discuss a development that is best relayed over phone. Can we connect either tonight or first thing tomorrow? Bottom line is that we should proceed with requesting the meeting.

Best,

Mike

We still need to reach out to the person at DNA if we want to request the meeting officially. The USEMB has primed this for us but it won’t happen unless we reach out for a request to the email address below. So we can discuss how and when to do that.

Mr. Gottlieb, DNA has asked if this is in reference to the Popoviciu case?

Mr. Gottlieb: Ms. Anca Jurman is the International Affairs Liaison for DNA. Her email is:ajurma@pna.ro<mailto:ajurma@pna.ro>

I’ve sent her a note and advised her you will reach out. Is there a specific file or case name I can use for her reference?

Dean:

Given your recent expertise in this arena, would you be able to point Mike in the right direction?

Happy to fill you in.

Thanks,

Hans,

Hope all is well in Bucharest. Thanks again for taking the time to see me on my last visit.

Our situation has not improved, so I think we need to try to reach out for a meeting with the DNA folks. We looked at their website to try to find procedures for requesting a meeting but could not find any. Is there someone on your team with whom I might speak to try to sort out the right protocol for moving forward? We are most appreciative for any help you’re able to provide.

All best,

Mike
