Gentleman,

We are 13 days from my primary election on June 7. Bottom line up front- I
hold a 1 point lead over my primary challenger who has poured huge amounts
of his own money in the race. My latest poll results that I received
tonight are attached.

I'm asking that the VP weigh in on the race. This race is likely to be very
close and the VP's endorsement would likely move voters at the end. Please
