The following information is what I sent to the list of family and friends
that was provided to me by the VP and Jill.

The Vice President and Dr. Biden will celebrate Election Night in
Chicago. Family
and friends traveling to Chicago *should book their travel as soon as
possible*. I recommend scheduling your flight so that you arrive in the
late afternoon or early evening on Tuesday, November 6.

If you are traveling to Chicago, please let me know by Friday October 19 so
that I can update you with information about election night activities as
they are determined. Please also let me know if you are *not*planning to
attend.

There is a block of rooms reserved for election night at the Fairmont
Chicago, Millennium Park Hotel, 200 North Columbus Drive, Chicago, IL 60601.
*Please call to reserve your room as soon as possible and, in any case, no
later than October 21*, when the block of rooms will be released. When you
call to reserve your room, please ask for *Tina Wiese at 312-565-6634* and
indicate that the room is being held in a *“personal block” for the
Eastlake group*. Rates are as follows: standard room is $229 per night and
a junior suite is $350 per night.
