Washington Post: "Romney's rise is giving the GOP new hope for the Senate"

R.Hunter - With Mitt Romney picking up steam, the Post reports a "GOP boost"--Democratic chances of keeping the Senate have fallen to below 50% with just eight days left. And we believe Karl Rove is spending $4 million in the next 48 hours in an attempt to permanently break the Senate deadlock!

Democrats will lose the majority if we lose just four seats, and polls show Democrats trailing in in these four races: Behind two in Massachusetts, Virginia, and Wisconsin; and three in Nevada.

But here is our plan to turn these numbers around: We must urgently put $4 million in the "Stop the Takeover" Fund by the Wednesday's final media ad buy--and match every single cent Rove is spending. We will immediately wire funds to battlegrounds like Virginia and Ohio.

Can you urgently contribute $25 to the "Stop the Takeover" Fund before the final media deadline on Wednesday? We need 13,144 more donations to match Rove dollar-for-dollar.

Rove isn't going to like this: We've already had 1,432 contributions since just this morning--and we'll urgently send those funds out tonight. But if we fall short by Wednesday at midnight, Rove will overpower us--and Republicans could win the not just the Senate, but the White House too.
