Dr. Max Dean from Stanford Hospital – looks at DNA from a blood test to look for mutations from tumors – use case is trying to determine if a cancer treatment is working or not. This is for Lung Cancer right now. Also trying to use the test to detect stage 1 Lung Cancer. Hopkins is working on a blood test to detect 14 cancer tumor types to detect stage 1 cancers before any symptoms.
