Sounds good. I’ll do up an engagement letter for Burisma on those terms.

For Klewin, happy to talk tomorrow but we’ll have to figure out a time. Am flying to Riyadh tonight. I can send you a note when I’m on the ground there and maybe we can connect by phone.

Happy Easter!

Thanks, Hunter. So I think our ordinary arrangement for a matter like this would be an up-front engagement fee along the lines you’ve described below, plus billing our hourly rates. Is that what you had in mind? Or were you thinking more like a $100k flat fee for all of the work?

Let’s also discuss the Casino matter. I assume they are ok paying our standard rates? We’d also need to do an engagement fee with them.

Ok- I think Burisma is prepared for an engagement fee in the 100K range as their initial needs would most likely be limited to Crisis/ Gov't team.

I would think both. I’m not sure what the standard is. But we’ll need to settle on an amount for the engagement letter (we specify the engagement fee and billing structure in each letter).

I can also reach out to Brille and see if he has guidance.

Ok – will circle back on this. Hunter – we should probably discuss engagement fee with Chris Boies.

Ok. In that case I need to supplement the conflict check.

I believe the development company would be the client.

You feel confident they can pay our legal fees? I assume that the development company is helping, but just want to double check.
