TO: MSFS Faculty FROM: Tony RE: MSFS Faculty Meeting (April 23, 4pm), Faculty Orientation April 23, 5:15pm) Tropaia Speakers *Faculty Meeting, April 23, 4pm, 7th Floor Executive Conference Room* Just a reminder that our next MSFS Faculty Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd from 4pm-5pm in the 7th Floor Executive Conference Room. Agenda will follow. Light refreshments will be available. To RSVP for the Faculty Meetings, please go to this link-- https://www.eventbrite.com/e/faculty-meeting-tickets-11297423899 *Faculty Orientation, April 23, 5:15, 7th Floor Executive Conference Room* MSFS faculty are also encouraged to attend the Faculty Orientation session on April 23 at 5:15PM, following the Faculty Meeting. This session will also be held in the 7th Floor Executive Conference Room. This session is particularly useful for new faculty who will be teaching with MSFS for the first time. All faculty are encouraged to attend, however. In past years, we have found that returning faculty have offered very good advice for new faculty, and new faculty members have raised helpful questions for returning faculty. Light dinner will be provided. To RSVP for the Orientation, please go to this link-- https://www.eventbrite.com/e/faculty-orientation-tickets-11297435935 *Tropaia Speakers* As you all know, the MSFS Tropaia Ceremony will be held in Gaston Hall on May 16. We hope you can come!! You will be receiving more detailed information about the logistics of the Tropaia soon. At the ceremony, there will be three main speakers-- a Student Speaker, whom the graduating students will be selecting soon, the Keynote Speaker, and the Alumna Speaker. We are truly excited to announce the Keynote and Alumna Speaker: *Keynote Speaker* *Lakhdar Brahimi* will be the Keynote Speaker. Ambassador Brahimi is the United Nations and Arab League Special Envoy for Syria.
