Dear Friends and Colleagues,

The unemployment numbers this morning were excellent, even if expected.
I have just ended a week-long trip to Singapore and Hong Kong and will
include my findings in my upcoming monthly report. Of note anecdotally:
It seems Chinese money is leaving China, based upon political
uncertainties and fueled by an anti corruption campaign in the Chinese
blogosphere. Asia overall remains an exciting place to do business, but
risks remain.

I am attaching a link to an article this morning by Lyric Hughes Hale
which appears in today's Huffington Post. "Three Men Make a Tiger"

is about the possibility of a military confrontation between Japan and
China, which would certainly qualify as the greatest geopolitical risk
in Asia today. I know Lyric would appreciate comments, especially from
our Chinese and Japanese friends and experts.

I will be sending a link to a post-election podcast mid next week. Mark
Zoff, our director of research has an extensive new report on Europe
which will be published next Friday as well.
