On November 6th, we have the ability to win marriage equality in Maryland. Our polls show us up, we have the momentum and it's keeping with the character of our state to protect rights equally under the law while also protecting religious liberty. But here's the catch: In order to win, we have to raise more money.

We need to raise another couple of million dollars to win. This sounds like a lot, but I know there are thousands of generous Marylanders across our state. We know what's coming. We know that the opponents of equality will try to exploit divisions and pit African-American voters against gay and lesbian people in our state.
