Registration is now open for DAGA’s annual holiday celebration on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the Federalist Restaurant at 1177 Fifteenth Street, NW Washington, D.C. 20005.

DAGA will also hold our Roundtable Members and Sponsors Appreciation Luncheon on Wednesday, December 12 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM. This event is by invitation only. You will receive a separate invitation for this event if you are eligible to attend. Dress for the 2012 Holiday Party is business attire. To help you plan, Washington is cold this time of year with a chance for some freezing precipitation or snow. DAGA will have a coat-check available to hold your outerwear during the party.

DAGA will provide you with regular updates as the event approaches including full briefing with logistical details in early December.

After a long campaign season Democratic Attorney General Steve Bullock emerged victorious in his race to become the Governor of Montana last week. Governor-elect Bullock was originally elected as AG in 2008 and has remained popular throughout his term, especially for his ability to work with a Republican led legislature to pass bills on drunk driving and prescription drug abuse. Governor-elect Bullock will replace fellow popular Montanan Democrat Brian Schweitzer, who was term limited.

Governor-elect Bullock has been a great ally and advocate for DAGA during his four years as Attorney General and we are very excited to wish him all the best of luck as the new Governor of Montana!
