RE: 2013 DAGA Winter Policy Conference Reminder to Register

We are emailing you because you may have not yet registered for the 2013 Winter Policy Conference at the Loews Santa Monica in Santa Monica, CA on Friday, February 1st - Saturday, February 2nd.

After you have registered, please make your room reservation at the Loews online (click here) (http://www.loewshotels.com/en/Santa-Monica-Beach-Hotel/GroupPages/daga) or call (800) 235-6397 and request the DAGA 2013 Winter Policy Conference Room Block by January 5, 2013. We have blocked a limited number of rooms for our Roundtable members on Thursday, January 31st (see * below) and a full block of rooms for our other members beginning on Friday, February 1st through the night of Saturday, February 2nd. We have multiple room-types available starting at $275 going up to $345 plus taxes and fees. Room-types are offered on a first come/first served basis. We cannot guarantee these rates or room availability if our block sells out before January 5, 2013 or if you do not reserve your room before January 5, 2013. In the event you need to cancel, we will do our best to resell your room, but if we cannot, and you cancel any later than 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival, you will be
responsible for the hotel’s cancellation fee of one night’s charge plus tax. Please contact Andrea Mietus at andrea@democraticags.org (mailto:andrea@democraticags.org) or 301.309.1908 if you need assistance with accommodations.

*DAGA will also host a Roundtable only cocktail reception on Thursday, January 31st from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM. This event is by invitation only. You will receive a separate invitation for this event if you are eligible to attend. Please contact Lauren Bergmann at lauren@democraticags.org (mailto:lauren@democraticags.org) with any questions about the Roundtable event.

The official conference program will begin with a lunch on Friday, February 1st and will conclude with a late lunch on Saturday, February 2nd. Rooms are available in the DAGA block, at our reduced rate, through Saturday night.

Sponsorship opportunities are a great way to highlight your support. We offer a variety of options to meet your needs and can customize a sponsorship to suit you, as well. We will send you periodic updates as we get closer to the event and a full briefing in the weeks before the conference. This will include a list of Attorneys General attending and final agenda for the conference.

Dress for the conference is business to business casual. California enjoys mild weather in February with highs in the upper-60s and lows in the mid to upper 50s.
