Washington Post Senate Report: "Republicans' hopes rising"

R.Hunter - The Post reports that Karl Rove's largest ad investment has "key Senate races getting tighter," with "eight critical contests dead heats." And with just eight days to go, Democrats' odds of keeping the Senate have now dropped to 50%.

In some key races, Democratic numbers are slipping: Elizabeth Warren is only up two, and Todd "legitimate rape" Akin is in the margin of error.

To stop Republicans from breaking the deadlock for the Senate majority, we must match Rove dollar-for-dollar with an urgent increase in battleground spending. It will take 9,126 emergency contributions by midnight Wednesday. Can you contribute $25 immediately? We will rush it to battlegrounds like Virginia and Ohio. -Patty
