Subject: Moving on from FIT

After returning home from Boston Marathon my faith in our work of emergency management and true innovation continues to be reaffirmed. The advancements we have made, and continue to make, ensure the safety and well being of the public each and everyday. The resiliency of the city of Boston is not unique to this city, it is in each of us and this single trait is what drives us forward each day,

To that end I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that I am no longer with the Field Innovation Team.

I have decided to move on from GDIG/FIT and pursue other options that better align with my goals and values for Emergency Management. I am currently considering other options, but I can assure you that I will continue to be active and engaged in Emergency Management and the innovation communities. I will be continuing my fellowship at Harvard as a Distinguished Visiting Fellow- Harvard School of Public Health, National Preparedness Leadership Initiative along with exploring some other opportunities going forward.

Thank you and I look forward to working with you as we continue to advance the field of emergency management.

I wish you all the best.
