In 2012, my friend Annie Kuster won a close race to represent New Hampshire's 2nd Congressional District in Congress.

She wasted no time getting to work, and from her first day in office she's been a leading voice in the fight for equal pay, defending access to affordable, quality healthcare, and ensuring veterans have access to the jobs and care they need to integrate back into society after returning from war.

But her relentless advocacy for working families has made her a target of the extreme right, and the Koch Brothers have hand-picked a local Tea Party favorite to challenge her this November.

If Congress has any chance of moving America forward in President Obama's final two years - by raising the minimum wage, passing comprehensive immigration reform, and keeping our communities safer from gun violence - this is a seat we have to hold.
