Thanks for following up on the meeting with Kelly. I would enjoy the opportunity to meet with Kelly and talk about China and I was checking to see if I can move around some travel I already have scheduled in December but unfortunately I wouldn't be able to meet then. My December travel schedule before the holidays is packed as well.

It would be great to try and find a time to do this in December but of course I understand if all of our holiday schedules prevent it from happening as soon as we would like. Let's definitely try and get something on the calendar for a time that works for everyone even if it is a little further out.

I am writing to follow-up on some earlier conversations to see if it is possible for you to visit Cleveland in the near future to meet with Kelly Tompkins who, among many other responsibilities (including Environmental Affairs and Government Relations) is President of Cliffs China.

As you may recall, in addition to the work we are doing with you in connection with the EPA, we are interested in understanding the capabilities of you and your firm in relation to opportunities in China.

Kelly is actually going to China next week and meeting options in December are limited in part due to the holidays—and Kelly’s busy schedule—so I am hoping that Tuesday, December 11, would work for you. I would propose a meeting from 10-12 and then a lunch together. This would allow you to fly up from and back to D.C. on the same day.
