Rice (toe) was a full participant at Wednesday's practice, the Ravens' official site reports. As long as Rice continues to practice fully, as expected, he's in no danger of missing Sunday's showdown against the division-rival Steelers.

Rice had 13 carries for 35 rushing yards and a touchdown, as well as four catches on five targets for 33 receiving yards Sunday against the Raiders. Rice's 2.7 YPC matched a season-low, although he still managed to get into the end zone for the fourth time in the last four games. He simply isn't rushing the ball as well this season as he has in the past, breaking 100 yards only twice all season and he's got a tough matchup next week against a Steelers defense ranked seventh against the run this year.


Cam Newton - (Sun, Nov 11, 2012)
Newton completed 21-of-36 throws for 241 passing yards and two touchdowns, but also threw two interceptions Sunday against the Broncos. Newton's performance Sunday was not his best. One of his interceptions was returned for a touchdown and he was also sacked seven times, including once for a safety. On top of that, Newton could only manage seven rushing yards on four carries. He will look to bounce back next week against a Buccaneers secondary that is vulnerable against the pass.


Trent Richardson - (Wed, Nov 14, 2012)
Richardson (chest/rib/finger) practiced fully Wednesday. Though Richardson acknowledges that he is still not 100 percent, even after the Browns' bye week, he'll no doubt be out there Sunday against the Cowboys, on the heels of back-to-back 100-plus yard efforts in Weeks 8 and 9.


Frank Gore - (Wed, Nov 14, 2012)
Gore had a post-game check on his ribs after Sunday's tie with St. Louis, which revealed all is well, the Sacramento Bee reports. Gore initially injured his ribs against another division opponent, Seattle, on October 18. Despite the ailment, he powered through it, posting 152 yards on 37 carries (4.1 YPC) and one touchdown over the past two contests. Barring a major setback, Gore should take the field Monday night against a Chicago rush defense that was just ripped for 102 yards and a touchdown by Houston's Arian Foster.

Gore underwent X-rays after Sunday's game against the Rams, CSN Bay Area reports. The report didn't specify what prompted the X-rays, but did note that Gore, who bruised his ribs on October 18, was moving around gingerly after the game. For his part, he noted afterward, "Just sore ... it's cool." In any case, we'll monitor Gore's practice participation leading up to next Monday's game against the Bears, but at this point, we'd expect him to be available.

Gore rushed 21 times for 97 yards and a touchdown and also caught three passes for 18 yards during the 49er's 24-24 tie with the Rams on Sunday. It was a strong afternoon for Gore who has struggled in two of his last three games. He was being leaned on often early in the game, but even more so when Alex Smith left midway through the second quarter with a concussion. If Smith remains out for Week 11, you can expect another heavy workload for Gore, although with a match-up against the Bears, yardage could be tough to come by.

Gore (hand) is active for Sunday's game against St. Louis. Gore, who has four TDs in eight game to date, continues to chug away at an 82 rushing yards per game clip. Only six NFL back are averaging more at this stage of the season.


Jeremy Maclin - (Wed, Nov 14, 2012)
Maclin (back) practiced fully Wednesday, Sirius Radio's Adam Caplan reports. Maclin said earlier Wednesday that he intends to play Sunday in Washington, and his participation level implies that that will be the case. However, Friday's injury report should clear up his status.

Maclin (back) intends to play Sunday at Washington, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. While we are unsure of his practice participation Wednesday, the fact that Maclin already appears so optimistic is generally a good sign for active status come Sunday. However, continue to watch his progress as he deals with a back strain.

According to coach Andy Reid, Maclin who suffered a lower back strain in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Cowboys, is "pretty sore" Monday, the Eagles' official site reports. Maclin was able to return to Sunday's game, but his status will still need to be monitored in the coming days, leading up to Sunday's game against the Redskins.

Maclin, who went to the locker room in the first half of Sunday's game versus Dallas to be examined for a potential concussion, was able to return to the game. Following his return to the contest, Maclin was able to make his mark in a big way, catching a 44-yard TD from Nick Foles, who was in the game to replace a concussed Michael Vick.

Maclin went to the locker room in the first half of Sunday's game versus Dallas to be examined for a potential concussion, CSN Philadelphia reports. Maclin jumped as he attempted to haul in a reception, only to be undercut and land on his neck and head. There is no word on a return to the field, but considering he was laying on the field for more than a few moments, the Eagles will likely proceed with the utmost caution and hold him out the remainder of the contest.


Vernon Davis - (Sun, Nov 11, 2012)
Davis caught four passes for 30 yards against the Rams on Sunday. Yet another disappointing game for the 49ers tight end who has now failed to record more than 40 yards in four of his last five games. While he still saw targets after Colin Kaepernick was forced to take over, the entire 49ers passing game was dramatically affected by the change as the team leaned on Frank Gore a lot more while Kaepernick opted to hold the ball and run rather than force throws downfield. Regardless of who is under center, though, it is obvious that Davis will either need a seriously favorable match-up or the team will have to make some changes to his routes in order for him to be effective moving forward.


Tony Gonzalez - (Wed, Nov 14, 2012)
Gonzalez was limited at Wednesday's practice with a shoulder injury, the team's official site reports. Gonzalez is coming off a spectacular 11-catch, 122-yard, two touchdown performance, and while he was limited Wednesday, there's been nothing to suggest he's in danger of missing Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Gonzalez caught 11 passes on 15 targets for 122 yards and two touchdowns Sunday against the Saints. Gonzalez's first touchdown was the 100th of his career, making him the only tight end in NFL history to reach the century mark. He was an absolute beast for fantasy owners Sunday, after three straight games with fewer than 45 receiving yards. The Falcons have a tough matchup next week against the Cardinals, who are ranked third in the league against the pass.

Romo won his first game in Philadelphia since 2009 on Sunday, completing 19-of-26 passes for 209 yards and two TDs. It wasn't his best statistical effort, but he avoided mistakes, and with the Cowboys' defense and special teams coming up big, Romo didn't have to carry the team on his shoulders. Next up for the 'Boys is a home game against Cleveland, who rank in the bottom 10 in both passing yards and passing TDs allowed per game, so look for Romo to put up some much better numbers in Week 11.

Bush had three rushes for 34 yards Sunday against the Texans. Bush actually had a couple nice runs Sunday, but lost a crucial fumble that swung the tides of the game early. The 34 yards are his most since the 36 in Week 7 against the Lions, but Matt Forte is dominating workloads (18 touches).

David Akers - (Sun, Nov 11, 2012)
Akers was 1-for-2 on field goal attempts and converted all three of his extra points during the 49ers' tie with the Rams on Sunday. Akers was successful from 33 yards out, but failed to connect on a 41-yarder to win the game in overtime. He is now 15-for-21 this season and has now kicked just six field goals over his last five games. He'll likely be a much needed asset next week as the Bears defense will be a tough opponent, particularly in the red zone, so you'll want to have him active.


Daniel Thomas - (Sun, Nov 11, 2012)
Thomas had five carries for 21 rushing yards and five catches on six targets for 34 receiving yards Sunday against the Titans. The Dolphins got behind early and had to essentially abandon the run, leaving Thomas' upside quite limited. He finished with more total yards than Reggie Bush, although neither got enough going to help many fantasy teams Sunday.


Mike Williams - (Mon, Nov 12, 2012)
Williams caught two passes (on four targets) for 64 yards in the Bucs' 34-24 victory over the Chargers Sunday. Williams failed to find the end zone after doing so the two previous games but overall is having a nice bounce-back season as he has 31 catches for 568 yards (a strong 18.3 yards per catch) and five touchdowns through nine games played so far in 2012.


Mike Williams - (Sun, Nov 11, 2012)
Williams (forearm) is active for Sunday's game against the Chargers. Williams is good for three or four receptions per game and he already has five touchdowns on the season. He might be in line for a nice game against a vulnerable Chargers defense, particularly because they will probably be intent on making sure their former star, Vincent Jackson, does not beat them.


Brian Hartline - (Wed, Nov 14, 2012)
Hartline (knee) is probable for Thursday's game against the Bills, the Dolphins' official site reports. Hartline should be fine for Thursday's game and he appears to be hitting stride again, having caught eight passes in each of his last two games.


Brian Hartline - (Tue, Nov 13, 2012)
Hartline (knee) practiced fully Tuesday, the Dolphins' official site reports. Despite just one touchdown on the season, Hartline has hauled in eight receptions in both of his past two games, albeit against middling or worse secondaries in Indianapolis and Tennessee. Since he faces Buffalo's 21st-ranked pass defense in Week 11, he again has a decent chance to produce. However, watch his status as Thursday's game approaches to ensure he's in the lineup.


Brian Hartline - (Sun, Nov 11, 2012)
Hartline (groin) is active for Sunday's contest against Tennessee. Hartline has not been a touchdown threat this season, tallying just one in eight games, but with the Dolphins taking on a Titans pass defense that has yielded 20 touchdown passes over nine contests, he is a great fantasy play in Week 10.
