On *Tuesday morning, May 13, The Atlantic will host* *U.S. Commerce
Secretary Penny Pritzker at our Watergate headquarters (600 New Hampshire
Ave.)* for a morning discussion on the state of the export economy and the
push to help U.S. companies become more competitive, connected, and
informed in an increasingly intertwined global economy.


The Secretary will give remarks on the *National Export Initiative* and an
update on Administration-wide efforts to increase U.S. exports. I will sit
down with Secretary Pritzker for a one-on-one conversation and we will then
be joined by a panel of leaders from business and government for a broader
assessment of U.S. trade and export policy, areas for improvement, and
future opportunities for growth. I very much hope to include you in this
discussion on Tuesday morning and it should be a cool morning.
