Rice (toe) rushed for 40 yards on 20 carries Sunday against the Steelers. Rice also caught five balls for 53 yards. In a typical Ravens-Steelers slugfest, neither team was able to run the ball effectively. The Steelers came into the game as the sixth-best run defense in the league and the road doesn't get any easier for Rice as the Ravens take on the Chargers in Week 12, who are ranked third in run defense.

Newton completed 16-of-29 throws for 252 passing yards and a touchdown, while he also rushed 11 times for 40 yards Sunday against the Buccaneers. Newton's performance was solid, but fantasy owners may have been looking for a larger point output, considering the Buccaneers entered Sunday's contest allowing a league-worst 321 passing yards per game. The second-year pro did not turn the ball over and was able to connect with Brandon LaFell on a 29-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter. However, the Panthers' consistent lack of a running game this season has allowed defenses to key more on stopping Newton, hindering his production level. Next week, Newton and the Panthers face a talented, but inconsistent Eagles secondary that allowed four passing touchdowns to the Redskins in Week 11.

Larry Fitzgerald - (Mon, Nov 19, 2012)
Fitzgerald had one catch for 11 yards in the Cards' loss to the Falcons on Sunday. Sunday was one of Fitzgerald's all-time worst games, as he had a few big plays go right through his fingers. With the Cards now rotating in Ryan Lindley at quarterback, Fitzgerald's value may continue to drop.


Trent Richardson - (Sun, Nov 18, 2012)
Richardson (finger) finished with 95 yards on 28 carries and added six receptions for 49 yards Sunday at Dallas. Richardson once again shouldered a heavy workload for the Browns. This was his third straight game with at least 24 carries. He has been very productive in his rookie season, making solid contributions in the passing game as well. The only knock on him lately, are his struggles getting into the endzone. He has just one touchdown in his last five games, but there are few backs in the league who are guaranteed as much work as Richardson on a weekly basis. Continue to start him in all leagues.


Trent Richardson - (Sun, Nov 18, 2012)
Richardson (chest/rib/finger) is active for Sunday's game against the Cowboys. Richardson had previously stated that he's not playing at 100 percent, although he comes into the game with back-to-back 100 yard games plus a bye, so fantasy owners are surely hoping he's ready to bust loose.


Frank Gore - (Mon, Nov 19, 2012)
Gore (ribs) had 17 rushes for 78 yards Monday against the Bears. With Colin Kaepernick show, Gore still put up a respectable 78 yards against a top five run defense. Though it was Kendall Hunter who ended up scoring on a 14-yard run, Gore will still be in an excellent situation new week against the Saints league-worst run defense (157.8 YPG).

Gore (ribs, wrist) is listed as active for Monday's game against the Bears. Gore, who will be taking handoffs from Colin Kaepernick with Alex Smith out, will take aim against a tough Bears' defense Monday, but he's a not a player to discount much despite the matchup, as he recorded a respectable average of 83.7 rushing yards per game to date, while compiling a nifty 5.4 yards (which equals his career-high) per carry average.


Frank Gore - (Sat, Nov 17, 2012)
Gore (ribs, wrist) is listed as probable for Monday's game against the Bears, the Sacramento Bee reports. Gore was a full participant in practice this week, so barring a last-minute aggravation, he should be full-go Monday against the Bears and their fourth-ranked rush defense. That should be of more concern to Gore owners than any ribs or wrist injury.


Jeremy Maclin - (Sun, Nov 18, 2012)
Maclin (back) did not catch a pass on three targets Sunday against the Redskins. The Eagles' offense is in turmoil right now and rookie quarterback Nick Foles didn't do anything to knock them out of the funk. Not only did Maclin finish without a catch, but fellow starter DeSean Jackson caught only two balls for five yards. It's tough to see a silver lining here, until the Eagles start moving the ball on a more consistent basis.

Maclin (back) is active for Sunday's game against Washington. We'll have to see what sort of chemistry Maclin forms with QB Nick Foles, but working in their favor is that they will both be getting a crack at a vulnerable Washington defense on Sunday.

Maclin (back) is probable for Sunday's game against Washington, PhiladelphiaEagles.com reports. Maclin's back strain is pretty much a non-issue. Although consistency has been an issue for him this year, most of his owners probably want him active against a vulnerable Washington defense.

Davis caught six passes for 83 yards and a touchdown Monday against the Bears. Showing great rapport with Colin Kaepernick, Davis busted out of a four week slump to record a touchdown for the first time since Week 3. The quarterback situation in San Fran will depend on Alex Smith's health, but with a healthy eight target Monday from the second year pro, Davis owners may want Kaepernick under center when they square off next against the Saints.

Gonzalez (shoulder) will play Sunday against Arizona. Gonzalez has a great chance to produce in Week 11, even against a Cardinals pass defense that has given up just three touchdowns to opposing tight ends this season, with Julio Jones likely limited due to a shin injury.

Gonzalez (shoulder) is probable for Sunday's game against Arizona, AtlantaFalcons.com reports. Although he certainly doesn't lack fantasy value in the first place, Gonzalez is an especially strong on-paper start against Arizona with Julio Jones (lower leg) potentially out.


Tony Romo - (Mon, Nov 19, 2012)
Despite being sacked seven times, Romo still managed to put up a fair enough stat line in Sunday's overtime win over the Browns, completing 35-of-50 passes for 313 yards and a touchdown. The Cowboys' offensive line issues got even worse when left tackle Tyron Smith went down with a high ankle sprain. Romo usually comes up big on Thanksgiving, but given how little time his beat-up o-line will have to heal, we'd be very hesitant about using him Thursday.

With Romo's teammate Phil Costa ruled out and Ryan Cook listed as doubtful for Sunday, guard Mackenzy Bernadeau (who has never snapped a ball in a regular season game) will probably have to fill in at center, the Dallas Morning News reports. This is obviously not ideal news for the Cowboys' offense. Retread Derrick Dockery would also take over at right guard for Bernadeau, creating another problem spot on the offensive line. If you are struggling between starting Romo and another player, you may want to consider the state of the Dallas O-line as a tie-breaker.


Michael Bush - (Mon, Nov 19, 2012)
Bush had five rushes for nine yards and caught one pass for 18 yards Monday against the 49ers. Bush continues to be an afterthought in the offense while Matt Forte (24) dominates touches. Bush is really only a fantasy option in the deepest of leagues with Forte healthy.


David Akers - (Tue, Nov 20, 2012)
Akers was 3-for-3 on field goal attempts and made all three of his extra points during Monday's win over the Bears. Akers made two kicks from 37 yards out and one from 32 and is now 18-for-24 on the year. He is, however, just 1-for-3 from 50 or more yards out and has only posted double-digit fantasy points in three of the team's 10 games this season. He is still a viable kicker to use this season and should have a nice, productive week when the 49ers face the Saints, the league's worst defense.


Sebastian Janikowski - (Mon, Nov 19, 2012)
Janikowski made a field goal and two extra points in Sunday's loss to the Saints. Janikowski's field goal came from 40 yards away, but he was relatively quiet Sunday. He has totaled just 19 points over the last three weeks, all Raiders losses.

Janikowski (groin) is active for Sunday's game against the Saints, according to the Raiders' official Twitter page. The Saints are allowing a league-high 469 yards per game this season, so Janikowski could have ample opportunities Sunday, especially if the Raiders have trouble getting into the end zone.
