Belated thanks for your help. I took the interview fairly, and the result will come out about 2nd week of December

after the manager (decision maker) comes back from his trip. The thing is my competitor also thinks he did well.. So let me see.


John, to say again, glad to start working with you.

I heard many times about your good relationships in Africa, but as a manager in charge of America business, I’d like to ask you if you also have some good relationships in Amercias

other than Colombia.


1. My first questions will be about countries where we are already trying to develop projects.

Do you have good high-level relationships with Guatemala, Paraguay, Bolivia, and Peru?

We have been trying to develop education EDCF projects in Guatemala, but it’s currently on hold.

Early this year, I developed a new project of building integrated security control center in Guatemala,

And we need a hard push for them to apply EDCF loan as we finished F/S.

Bolivia, we’re also interested in public security project and hospital project. You can guess which ministries we need to work with.

Peru is planning to do national fiber backbone project based on PPP, which is also very interesting to us.


2. Next, I would like to ask about other markets you think are promising.

If you suggest which kinds of projects will be good for EDCF in which markets, I will check and reassign our resources and priorities.

I know how tough it is, but if you know any opportunities for us to export to the US, I’m all ears. (I personally like the US and want to do business there!)

Unfortunately I don't recognize any of these names.

Contour Global was the other company I was thinking of that has some IPPs that you can read about on their site.

Another name I have seen is SIDEC from France, but I don't know much about them and don't know if they have any operations in Africa or not.
