[Washington Senate Democratic Campaign]

Friend,

Women’s rights were under attack long before the 2016 election. Efforts to defund Planned Parenthood, stop equal pay for equal work, and limit family support services have been going on for years at the state level.

Washington Senate Democrats have for years been champions for women and families but important legislation continues to be blocked in the state Senate by Republicans. We need more Democrats in office, like Manka, who have the interests of women at heart.

It doesnt make any sense for Republicans to support bills that would limit women’s access to health care. It doesn’t make sense that Republicans would block bills that would ensure women are treated equally to men. It doesn’t make sense because when women are supported, our families, communities and our state succeed.

It is clear we need more allies in office to support important legislation that will positively affect all of us. Please, stand up and show your support for Manka because the issues at stake are too important to stay seated. (https://act.myngp.com/Forms/-3922223457709455360)
