The Young Friends of The Pennsylvania Hunt Cup are thrilled to announce their 2017 event.

Nine Holes Anywhere/Croquet Golf & BBQ

The event will be held at the Pennsylvania Hunt Cup (www.pahuntcup.org<http://www.pahuntcup.org>) course in beautiful Unionville, Pennsylvania at 3:00pm on Saturday September 9th, 2017. The format will be better ball of partners. The tournament will be followed by a BBQ from local food vendors, wine, beer, silent auction and music by the Cameltones.

Each single player registration includes dinner and drink. Discounts for your significant other to attend the BBQ are also available. If you cannot play you can still register to just attend the dinner and festivities. For local business owners, we also have hole sponsors available so your company can be recognized for supporting the event.

Proceeds from the day will benefit the Chester County Food Bank(www.chestercountyfoodbank.org<http://www.chestercountyfoodbank.org>)

In 2009, the Chester County Food Bank was established to manage the distribution of food and find long-term solutions to reduce the incidence of hunger in our communities. The Food Bank is approaching the problem of hunger in an inventive way. In addition to expanding the delivery of food to provide larger quantities and more nutritious food, it has instituted a nutrition education program for schools, communities and families to foster healthier lifestyles and a greater long-term impact. The plan has a special focus on children, who without adequate nutrition are destined to a life of struggle and poverty.


There is no prior experience necessary. Our friend Bill Dugdale of Nine Hole Anywhere (www.nineholesanywhere.com<http://www.nineholesanywhere.com>) will be setting up the course and providing all the equipment unless you would like to bring your own mallet. Check out the video on the website to get a sense of the game and hear the history of croquet golf. If you don’t have a partner in mind we would be happy to help pair you up. Water, beer and other tasty snacks will be available on the course. Men and women are encouraged to play!

Once you have registered please send me an e-mail confirming your partner and who else you would like in your group and we will do our best to put you together.

The team with the lowest score will receive reserved parking passes to the Pennsylvania Hunt Cup on Sunday November 5th as well as trophies to be prominently placed in your trophy cases at home.

Space is limited so please register early to secure your spot.
