Former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore and Sen. Luther Strange have qualified for a Sept. 26 Republican primary runoff in Alabama's special Senate election.

Moore had 41 percent of the vote and Strange had 32 percent when the Associated Press called the primary with 62 percent of precincts reporting. Rep. Mo Brooks was in third with 20 percent. Democrat Doug Jones won the Democratic primary.
