“THE PUSH is a documentary film that focuses on Grant Korgan, an adventure athlete and former nanoscientist who became the first spinal-cord injured athlete in history attempting to ski the final degree of latitude to the bottom of the world ~ to Antarctica's geographic South Pole.

After becoming paralyzed from a snowmobiling accident just 5 months after marrying Shawna, the woman of his dreams, Grant Korgan was told he would never walk again.
Yet despite his prognosis, he and Shawna focused on the goal of 120% recovery. Shawna, a health and wellness expert, took his recovery head-on and with the same drive and tenacity as Grant. She worked with doctors and therapists to devise a rigorous plan that aligned with Grant’s recovery goals and enabled him to literally "push" himself to the geographic South Pole, less than two years after his injury.”
