Great seeing you Tuesday evening.

Thank you again for your willingness to speak to Hunter on my behalf. Since Cynthia Hogan, the NFL’s newly appointed VP for Public Policy & Government Affairs, was Vice President Biden’s Counsel, I imagine they know each other – possibly quite well.

I had a nice but brief and very preliminary conversation with Cynthia a few weeks ago when I just happen to catch her @ the NFL’s NYC office. After all the Super Bowl festivities, I’m hoping to schedule time to meet her when she’s in DC.

The only other info of note that’s not in the bio or email below is that one of my cousins-by-marriage, Mark Wilf, owns the Vikings. Mark knows me and the quality of my work well through the PBS documentary I co-produced, Rescue in the Philippines: Refuge from the Holocaust.

I’d be delighted to meet Hunter anytime – will leave those arrangements up to you.

Good morning, Sophia –

Cynthia and I just spoke and she asked that I send the attached bio to you for consideration of your NFL “Republican slot.”

The one relevant item that is not on the bio is that I’m a pretty good “sports girl.” Especially football. Growing up with brothers and a father who was one of the original Bengals ticket holders – then University of Michigan.

I believe my Republican credentials come through strongly in the bio – but just in case – I was an appointee in Bush 1, on the ’92 presidential campaign in communications, RNC congressional and public affairs director in the ’98 cycle and have worked on and assisted a number of presidential and congressional races (e.g. I did Paul Ryan’s first fundraiser when he ran for the House). My personal relationships start with Speaker Boehner and Leader McConnell then run through the current freshman class – and across the idealogical spectrum.

Please let me know if any additional information would be helpful or required. I look forward to hearing from you or Cynthia to discuss the position in more detail.
