Today, I wanted to share with you some wonderful news on an issue that affects many Pennsylvanians: emergency medical care for children.

Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) recognizes that pediatric patients require special care due to important physical, developmental, and mental differences from adults. The program has served millions of children over the last three decades, which is why I authored the bill to reauthorize this program.

This week, it passed the House and is now on its way to the President’s desk.

All that’s left to do is for the President to attach his signature. Will you show your support and add yours today?

Every year, more than 26 million children require emergency medical services and they present unique medical challenges and require special care.
