R.Hunter,

Two months ago, voters went to the polls seeking change, electing a new Congress focused on leading our country in a new direction. But President Trump has taken gridlock to a new level, and his antics are hindering our best chances of progress.

Congress can deliver the change so many sought and voted for in November, and I'm determined to make it happen. There are far more things that unite us than divide us - issues like protecting the integrity of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, helping our nation's small businesses thrive, improving educational opportunities, and reforming our criminal justice system.

These are just a few issues that I know have bipartisan support, and I'll fight to end this shutdown so we can get to work. As I push forward, I want to know where grassroots supporters like you stand. What are your priorities for the new Congress?
