There are so many kitties that need HT's help and deserve a second chance. Each week we will feature a few of our cute and cuddly cats who are looking for a new foster home. We are limited in the number of animals we can rescue by the number of foster homes in which to place them. This is where you come in. The more foster homes we have, the more animals we can rescue. By providing an animal a temporary home, the foster has given that animal another chance at life that he/she otherwise would not have had. A foster's job is not an easy one. Cats may have trust issues and need socialization. Read our Foster FAQ's to see if you are a good fit to be a foster. Featured Felines looking to Fetch a Foster If you are interested in fostering any of our featured kitties, please email Kelsey at kmm3434@gmail.com. Asher Asher is a big handsome guy who will headbutt you for attention. He is outgoing and ready to greet everyone he meets. He's good with other cats and loves to be petted and loves to sit in your lap. Me-B Me-B is a friendly, sweet and independent girl. She's ok with other cats but has been bullied a bit and is really looking forward to being out of the shelter and in a home. This likely makes Me-B a bit shyer in the shelter when visitors come, but we anticipate she will completely blossom once in a home. Me-B was found to be FIV positive so may always be overlooked in the shelter. George George is an affectionate and laid back guy who just wants to soak up the sun and get lots of pets from his people. George isn't a fan of other cats and would really love to be your one and only. He is on a prescription diet for urinary crystals which he may always need to be on, but you can easily get that from your vet or order online. This Week's Must Have Animals Our weekly wish list of dogs and cats to save! Each week we seek to rescue new animals from our rural shelter partners before they face euthanasia due to space. It is essential that we secure sponsorship for these animals in order to cover their initial vetting and transport costs. We had great success from our wonderful Facebook supporters, but the new algorithm has drastically hurt our ability to reach out! To ensure we can continue to say YES to these puppies, dogs, kittens and cats, each week we will share with you some of our must have animals in hopes you will consider donating to their sponsor costs.
