Dear Hunter,

Looks like another Tea Party champion has thrown in their lot with Al's opponent.

Michele Bachmann is helping investment banker Mike McFadden raise funds. We know because a mailer with her name on it -- with a request to give money to defeat Al Franken -- showed up at Al's house.

Let's ignore the terrible targeting on THAT for a moment and focus on what matters -- Tea Party leaders have made their choice for Minnesota perfectly clear.

Al needs our help. We need to reach our $300,000 FEC goal before the deadline in 3 days.

McFadden's anti-middle class policies aren't just impressing Mrs. Bachmann. Two super PACs have attacked Al. With the polls getting tighter and tighter, there's much MUCH more outside money where that came from.

The numbers we post for the FEC deadline will have one of two effects. We'll either show an unbeatable grassroots network that will send the special interests fleeing. Or we'll hand in mediocre numbers, and maybe more groups will solicit Al to give money against himself.

I don't need to tell you which category we have to fall in. Give $5 -- or whatever you can -- to make sure we hit our $300,000 goal in time for the FEC deadline. We're just $35,236 away.
