Dear Truman CNP Board of Directors,


I hope this note finds you well, and thank you to those who were able to
join the board call last week to elect the next President and Executive
Director of Truman CNP. The leadership transition is now underway, and we
are excited for what the future has in store for the organization.


As many of you are aware, over the past several weeks, Truman CNP has been
involved in negotiations with its landlord regarding an amended lease for
the space at 1250 I Street NW, Suite 500, Washington DC 20005. Those
negotiations are now complete, and the landlord is hoping to move quickly
to execute the lease. Given the leadership transition currently underway
for Truman CNP, we think it may be best to delegate lease-signing authority
to Tiffani Huskey, Truman CNP’s Managing Director of Finance and
Administration. Tiffani has been involved in the lease negotiations and
would provide continuity as signatory during this time of transition. This
would occur in accordance with Truman CNP’s By-Laws, which provide that the
Board can delegate authority for such matters.


In order to discuss the lease and the delegation of authority to Tiffani,
we hope to hold a Board call early next week. To take action, a quorum of
the Board will need to be present on the call. *Therefore, please reply to
Carrie with your availability for a board meeting and vote on Tuesday,
February 19.* We will then be in touch with a final time and call-in
information.
