Dear Rick and Hunter:

I hope this email finds you both well! Writing to share a quick update and
a big thank you.

This past week, I was asked by my Advisory Board and Malala to become
Interim CEO of the Malala Fund. I'm honored to serve in this capacity, and
looking forward to continuing to build the organization over the coming
months.

I wanted to reach out to say thank you-- as when the Advisory Board asked
me to take on this role, my first thought was* thank God I worked at WFP
USA and with Rick. *If I hadn't worked with Rick and the Board at WFP USA
so closely, there is no way I'd be even half prepared to take on this
leadership opportunity.

Rick's instruction was top-notch and it was his example of excellence in
operations and organizational leadership that I know I'm going to be
constantly going back to as inspiration, if not daily. I learned so many
important lessons from you Rick about process, strategic planning and
fiscal management, and I know it will make all the difference as I work
with our own Advisory Board and team.

So please accept my gratitude for all of your support and incredible
example-- it continues to mean the world to me. Wishing you and the entire
team at WFP USA the very best!
