Colleagues, The IRS approved our application for 501 (c) (3) status, with an effective date of exemption of November 15, 2013. Our application was approved on an expedited basis, in less than two months from the date of submission. This means that donors can now make tax deductible gifts directly to Five Smooth Stones Foundation, Inc. On another note, we are awaiting a response from City Schools to our lastest submission of materials on September 9th. An update is forthcoming.
