The Great Class of 1988,

Huge shout out to everyone who joined us for the reunion at Archmere last night. To those that could not join us, you were missed. By the end of the evening it seemed that our class had the reunion to ourselves or at least were loud enough to make it seem so, much like Eagles fans at Giants stadium. The after party at Harry's rocked into the evening and could have gone on for weeks if we did not have to drift back into our daily lives. We will have to find a way we can get together more often and I will put some thoughts together around that. Once a year or every 5 years simply isn't enough.

In reflecting back upon the evening, here are a few things that stood out.

· Raimund Maschita was the star of the show last night. I have received 7 texts so far from people saying what an awesome guy he is. Thanks so making the trip all the way from Germany.

· Jim Curren's run of coolest guy at the reunion ended the moment HJ's husband showed up. Dan is a rock star (literally) and let me in on a family secret....HJ plays a mean jazz flute.

· The ladies of 88 all looked incredible last night. I always chalked up my recollection of how beautiful the girls in our class were to teenage hormones, but you all looked simply spectacular last evening.

· Tom Conway finally realized his dream of becoming an UBER driver. His first fare? Knapp, Dailey and Pruett I was driving right behind them to Harry's and they stopped in front of me at blinking red light for 4 minutes debating what the hell you do at a blinking red light. Knapp was able to pull out his old Driver's Ed manual and saved the day.

· I swear I was better looking than Jay Gopez in high school. That dude must have gotten some work done.

· Shout out to all the spouses, fiancées, significant others and partners who joined the party. You made the evening much more than a class reunion and so happy to have you as part of the 88 family.

· Frank Dailey could be the funniest person I have ever met. My wife just stood behind him at one point lurking on his storytelling and laughing her butt off.

· Thank you to Mary Ellen for her patience as I asked her for the seventh time to give to the Golf & Tennis Outing. She had already given, which she politely explained to me all 7 times.

· In between swigs of vodka, Judy and I started planning a class event which involves an epic bloody mary bar. I don' think we spent any time discussing the actual event, but the bloody mary bar is going to kick serious ass. Judy, hit me back and we can get things in motion.

· As Curren pointed out, Conway FaceTiming Rafter and Healy-Scarpaci was just the best. We'll have to get a FaceTime group set up for our class and bring in those that cannot attend in person going forward.
