Dear Fellow Parents of Seniors,

Due to the weather, we had to reschedule our second grade-wide meeting regarding the June 3 Senior Celebration, which we were supposed to hold this evening. The meeting has been moved to next Tuesday, March 21 at 7:00 pm in the US Choral Room. We invite all senior parents to join us for this meeting. This is your chance to provide input and make sure you agree with where the teams are heading with the event. And it is not too late to volunteer — we definitely need more help to make this event a success! Please reach out if you have not volunteered already and want to help.

We also want to remind you that the deadline to submit photos of your senior is this week. As a reminder we are asking you to please provide us with the following photos:

* • Your child as a toddler
* • Your child as a Senior (alternatively, please send an email to SidwellPix2017@gmail.com<mailto:SidwellPix2017@gmail.com> giving us permission to obtain the official class photo of your Senior from Sidwell and use that for the video)1 to 3 photos of your child with fellow members of the class of 2017 at memorable moments during their time at Sidwell.
* • It would be helpful for the first two photos to have simple backgrounds and for your child to be looking directly at the camera.

You can send electronic jpeg files or actual photograph prints. If you send actual prints, please make sure that all photos are carefully labeled, so we can return them to you after they have been scanned.

Photos (and permission to use the official photo) should be sent to SidwellPix2017@gmail.com<mailto:SidwellPix2017@gmail.com> or mailed to Senior Celebration photos, c/o Kulsum Ahmed, 5313 Sunset Lane, Chevy Chase, MD 20815. You can also drop photos off with Amy McNutt at Zartman House Reception at Sidwell. Please ensure that the envelope is marked "Senior Celebration photos, c/o Kulsum Ahmed."

Please send your photos as soon as possible and latest by March 17, 2017
We would also be grateful if you could please keep this as a surprise and not share any information with your Senior.
