Republicans had seven years to come up with their replacement plan for the Affordable Care Act. But what they've come up with is so bad that it's laughable -- or it would be if they weren't trying so hard to push it through.

Here's the scoop:

- The Republicans' plan would cover fewer people at a greater cost

- Seniors could be charged five times as much as young people for health care

- Maternity care, birth control, mental health care, and addiction services would not have to be covered by health plans

- Planned Parenthood would be completely defunded

- The 320,000 Nevadans who got coverage through the state's Medicaid expansion could lose health care altogether!

The bottom line? This bill was engineered to give wealthy Republican donors a huge tax break.

Hunter, this is simply unacceptable for Nevadans.
