Don't know them. You know who just popped into my mind? APCO worldwide. Dan Glickman does some work with them and so does Tim Roemer. One of my oldest friends (since 2nd grade) also works there. They know a lot about Russia-Ukraine because they represent Mikhail Khodorkovsky, the guy who owned Yukos Oil who Putin threw in prison for 14 years. APCO is a really solid firm and there are few people I respect more than Dan Glickman and Tim Roemer. If you want I can ask my buddy Jon Gregory to get in touch with you.

If it continues until next week or on Sunday shows (and I can discretely ask Schieffer's producer) then reevaluate. If you do an op ed now you're going to give the story legs and TV will want you, ect. But if this nonsense continues, it's a good idea to tell it in your words.

The objective would be to clarify that I don't "work" for Burisma and that I don't stand to gain anything as I am not an equity shareholder in the company. And that my decision to join the board was made in the context of lending support and "western" corporate governance standards to a vital Ukrainian company and industry under siege from pro- Putin/ Russian forces. Basically play off of this reporting:
>>> "The announcement comes as Ukraine and the U.S. are looking to decrease Ukraine's reliance on Russian energy amid threats from Moscow to cut Ukraine off if it doesn't pay massive debts. Western countries believe Russia would have less leverage in the crisis with Ukraine if Europe was less dependent on Russian gas."

>>> My instinct is always to do less and let the issue die a natural death , but at the same time I hate letting untruths stand (like WSJ report that I was in business w/ Alan Stanford- a complete fabrication).
