In addition to wishing all of Maryland's moms a Happy Mother's Day, I'd like to single out one mom for a special shout out - mine.

I am so grateful for all the love, support and guidance she offered to me growing up; and I owe her a huge thank you for every campaign phone call she has made, every envelope stuffed, every ride she has given to Sam or Will when Laura and I couldn't.

But I'd also like to thank my mom for her work as a teacher. Like being a good mom, being a good teacher requires an unparalleled commitment to fostering another person's growth.

So thank you mom, and Happy Mothers Day to you and all the moms of Maryland.

Doug
