Everyone needs to reserve their hotel rooms for USJN Hershey. See Vicki's email below:

> I have reserved a block of 20 hotel rooms for the two GTS teams for the USJN Tournament in Hershey/Harrisburg June 21-24th. Please see below for information on how to book your room at the Sheraton in Harrisburg, Pa. The rate is $159/night. The link says the dates are June 20-27, but you will most likely want to book a room for four nights: June 20-June 24. There are 10 rooms with two double beds and 10 rooms that have a king size bed and a pull out sofa, so book early if you have a preference.

> The Tournament website says that we are guaranteed to play 5 games: 2 on Saturday the 21st, 2 on Sunday the 22nd, and 1 on Monday morning the 23rd. Depending on how we do in those games, we could qualify for some playoff games on Monday afternoon, and possibly even more playoff games and/or the Championship game onTuesday, June 24. However, it is also possible that we could be finished playing Monday morning. For your planning purposes: we will definitely be playing until sometime on Monday. Unfortunately, we won’t know more than that until we see how we do over the weekend.

> Please note that the “cut-off date” for accepting reservations into this guest room block is May 30, 2014. The hotel will release our reserved block of rooms on May 30th and will not guarantee availability after that date. Reservation requests received after 5:00 p.m. local time at Hotel on the cut-off date will be accepted at Hotel’s prevailing rate, based on room type availability.

> Early Departure Fees and Cancellation Information from the Hotel:
>
> In the event that a guest who has reserved a guest room within Group’s guest room block checks out prior to the guest's reserved checkout date, an early departure fee of one night stay will be charged to that guest's individual account. Guests wishing to avoid this fee must advise Hotel at or before check-in of any change in the scheduled length of stay. Hotel will inform members of Group of this fee upon check-in. Hotel will deduct any early departure fees that are collected by the Hotel from any amount Group may owe as guest room attrition.

> Guests shall be responsible for their own guest room, taxes, and incidental charges upon checkout.
>
> A credit card will be required to guarantee all reservations. A credit card will be authorized upon check-in, and the final balance will be charged upon check-out. Should the reservation be cancelled within 72 hours prior to the arrival date or the guest not arrive on the scheduled day, the credit card will be charged the appropriate cancellation fee equal to one nights stay.

> Bottom line: If you need to cancel your hotel reservation and don’t want to pay a one night’s fee, you will need to cancel your reservation more than 72 hours before your scheduled arrival date. Also, if you decide you want to shorten your reservation/check out early, you will need to let the hotel know about your revised departure date no later than check-in. That means that we can’t wait until we see how the games go over the weekend to see if we need to stay over on Monday night. So, please plan accordingly. If you don’t think you would stay Monday night and go to Hershey Park on Tuesday, you may want to only book through Sunday night and take your chances at our hotel (or another hotel) about room availability/rates on Monday night if we end up playing on Tuesday. We leave those planning decisions up to each family, but please be mindful of both the tournament schedule and the hotel’s cancellation and early departure rules/fees.
