Hope everyone is well! Alex and I are in the home stretch for the
arrival of Baby Mack due on June 11th. We have had one hell of a year
filled with incredible highs and times of great sadness. We had an
all time high this weekend as we celebrated his graduation from W&M
law school. It was great! If I may, I'd like to take a moment and
brag about him as I am so incredibly proud!.

On Saturday, we had the Law School Awards Ceremony. Alex won 8 awards,
including ones for Leadership, Professionalism, Service (for his work
in the the Veteran's Benefit Clinic), and Academics. He was also
inducted into the Order of the Coif which recognizes the exact top 10%
of the class.

Yesterday was the graduation ceremony. He graduated along with 214
classmates. The true highlight of the weekend was the announcement
that Alex is ranked #1 in the class and a Valedictorian. He has
worked tirelessly these past three years with great humility and
grace. You all have been such wonderful friends to us and supported
him--so thank you! It means a great deal! Alex would never brag about
himself but given the extent of his success, I feel it is my duty to
share it with all of you :)
