Here's your chance at fame. The DSCC is holding a slogan contest, and the aim is to let everyone know just how important it is to keep the Senate in Democratic hands – in only a few words. Few enough words to fit on a bumper sticker.

More than 16,000 people have already weighed in. But we want your opinion, too. Click below and submit your idea. If nothing's coming to you, you can choose your favorite out of the slogans we came up with.

Here's why keeping the Senate Democratic majority is so important. The Republicans are bound and determined to balance the budget on the backs of everyone but their powerful friends. The war against women has got to stop. And the GOP said they were coming to Washington to focus on jobs, but they've done everything but.

The stakes are high. We have 23 seats to defend in 2012. They have 10. A net gain of four, and they're in charge of the Senate. We can't have that.

Unfortunately, that won't fit on a bumper sticker. We need something shorter.
