Hi Kathleen,

Thanks for checking in. I am so glad you made the decision to send her -
it will be an invaluable experience!

Next week is the week before Minimester. Generally the workload is
fairly light during that time. I will pull together work for Social
Studies. I'll also send an email to her specials teachers asking them to
collect work for Finnegan by Friday. Please remind Finn to follow up
with her teachers to make sure she has all of the necessary assignments
and materials. Finnegan should also follow up after vacation to ensure
she did indeed get everything that was covered in class.

Lauren,

Hunter's dad would like to take Finnegan to Finland, Russia and Moldova
for an official visit. The trip is march 6-12. Hunter and I were
reluctant to send her on the trip because we didn't want her to miss
school. We didn't make our decision lightly. Traveling with Hunter's
dad is a living history lesson. He really does want to share the
history of these countries with Finnegan.

Would it be possible for Finnegan to get her homework for that week? I
know it's a real disruption for Finnegan and we'll work to make sure
she's continuing her homework while she's traveling.
