*SPIES & SPYCRAFT:*
*An Evening Discussion with DAVID IGNATIUS, VALERIE PLAME and STEVE CLEMONS*

Greetings,

Tomorrow (Wednesday, 28 May) from 5:00 pm til 7:15 pm, *The Atlantic
*and *National
Journal *will host *David Ignatius (author, The Director)* and *Valerie
Plame (author, Blowback) at our Watergate headquarters (600 New Hampshire
Ave. NW)*. Ignatius, national security columnist for the *Washington Post*,
and Plame, an 'outed' undercover CIA agent, have respectively been
reporting on and/or practicing international espionage for decades and have
authored best-selling thriller novels that illuminate the shadowy world of
spies and spycraft.

I will moderate a conversation with them, after which we will enjoy a wine
reception and book signing. Politics and Prose will be on site to sell
Valerie Plame's novel, *Blowback,* and Ignatius' anticipated new release, *The
Director*, which will be available for purchase before it's officially in
stores.

Please RSVP by responding directly to this email or calling Sydney Simon at
202-266-7338.

I hope to see you tomorrow night.

All best,

Steve Clemons
